Collora LLP is pleased to announce that Natashia Tidwell has joined the firm as Counsel. Natashia represents businesses and individuals in connection with white collar criminal and civil litigation matters. Her practice also focuses on internal investigations, monitorships and compliance where she applies her specialized knowledge of law enforcement practices, including the internal affairs process and policy development and review.
Natashia brings a strong background spanning law enforcement, academia and federal prosecution to Collora LLP. Most recently, Natashia was an Associate Professor of Law at New England Law | Boston and also served as a prosecutor in the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, Organized Crime Strike Force. Natashia’s career as a federal prosecutor began with her work as a trial attorney in the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Public Integrity Section in Washington DC. Before becoming a lawyer, Natashia served as a police officer with the Cambridge, MA police department, where she rose through the ranks to become the first female lieutenant in the department’s history. As a sergeant, Natashia served as a detective in the Internal Affairs Division.
Natashia continues to proudly serve the communities in which she lives and works. She is an Ombudsman on the Boston Police Community Oversight Panel in Boston as well as a member of the Cambridge Police Commissioner’s Advisory Group.
